I ended up being in charge of lunch while Mum and Dad headed into Bishop's Castle so it was spag. bol., garlic bread and salad followed by a rather delicious lemon cheesecake (although I can't take the credit for that as it was out of the freezer๐). A very filling lunch so it only seemed right and proper for us to have a nap in the warmth of the conservatory. We're definitely in retirement mode now we're having afternoon naps ๐
.
As it was a relaxing day I ended up finishing the jumper I've been working on over the last few weeks. I enjoy the knitting but the sewing up part of a project is always a bit tedious, but I persevered.
With a ball of wool left over I've started on a little hat for a winter baby - got to keep myself busy. What will I do when that's finished as I've completed all the projects that I brought away with me? I feel like a trip to the wool shop in Aberaeon in the next few days will be on the cards.
Well, back to Wales tomorrow so we might be lucky and actually see a bit of sunshine in the 3 weeks that we're there. At least we'll be more likely to see it once we get to Spain ☀️.
