25th August Winding Down

The last Friday we're going to be in Wales for a while so we just had to pop up to the market (you know how I love markets 😁). I had a bit of a challenge result! Although the Avon lady wasn't there as I'd hoped (I was going to get some suncream in anticipation of sunnier weather in Spain) I did find a lady selling reasonably priced wool. She had 6 balls in a colour combination that would work well for a pattern that I was given with my recent wool purchase for the cushions. I'll be able to knit myself a jumper whilst out in Spain 😀.

New Quay sailing regatta in full swing, but as you can see, not much sun this morning. It's been more like an autumnal morning with a bit of a nip in the air. We both had jumpers on this morning and we're still in August!

This afternoon the sun came out (yay!). We took a walk along the coast path, that goes in the direction of Aberaeon, in search of blackberries.

Taking these to Mum and Dad on Sunday. They should have enough for a few apple and blackberry crumbles.

Tomorrow is our last day at the van so we'll be packing and cleaning. Then looking forward to seeing Mum and Dad for a few days.
