24th August Taking it Easy

Can't believe we're coming towards the end of August and I've had a sweatshirt and long trousers on today. Definitely a tad cool 🥶.

Anyway we've had a quiet day as we start to get ourselves organised to pack up ready for leaving the van on Sunday. We did have a little trip out to Aberaeon to get some more wool supplies for my stag cushion and buttons for both cushions.

This afternoon I had an urge to do a bit of baking so made some scones to go with clotted cream we bought whilst out.

All ready for my afternoon in the bit of sunshine that made an appearance.

This evening whilst watching the World Athletics I have sewn up the fox cushion and put on the buttons. Pleased with the result so hopefully the stag one will come out just as good. Waiting for cushion pads to be delivered so they can be stuffed and ready to use.
