We woke up to a dreary morning with rain threatening so definitely not a morning to rush out for a walk. But instead of staying in we popped out a drive and had a few hours checking out Cardigan facilities before the heavens opened.
Thankfully the rain didn't last long and dried up the soggy outside seats. Ian had a snooze while I got some fresh air and got on with my Peter James book - about a third of the way through now.
This evening I've been tweaking the Fenton Fox cushion cover I've been crocheting. It's now going to have an opening to be able to remove the cushion padding with buttonholes (a newly mastered crochet skill😃).
Pretty pleased with my first real crochet project. Just need to sew the back to the front and get a cushion pad to go inside. We also need to get some buttons - a job for this week.
I'm now making a start on another cushion with a stag on it which is a bit more of a complicated picture. But I love a challenge 😊.
