20th August Dolphin Spotting

Well not a good footie result for the Lionesses but a good effort by the girls. Ian and I are now looking forward to the ribbing we'll get at our local restaurant when we go to Spain in a few week's time. The owner will love reminding us of the Spanish win 😀.

We had an amble up to New Quay where it was ideal dolphin spotting conditions. You know when there are dolphins in the bay when the dolphin spotting boats tend to all huddle in one area. With our binoculars we had a good view of a pod of about 6 leaping about and swimming not far off the harbour. Still not as good as our dolphin spotting when we've been sailing but still rather exciting to spot them.

Still sunny early evening walking back to the van.

Tomorrow we'll probably head off in Rolo for a little spin somewhere. Still loads of places we've not visited recently so lots of options available. We also have a few National Trust vouchers still to use so we might use those.
