As it was late morning we headed back for our freebie coffee and a morning read of the papers in the Owners Lounge. Just as well we did as it started to rain. So some pretty quick walking to get there out of the rain.
By the time we'd finished catching up on what is going on in the world the rain had stopped so we continued on our journey back to the van for some chores.
I did have some plans to clean more of the van but after consultation with my van maintainence manager (Ian) we decided that it was clean enough. I was quite happy with that - gave me more time to enjoy sitting in the sunshine enjoying the company of Sergeant Logan McRae in my book 😃.
Ian was on hedge management - when it's windy the branches have been scraping on the back of the van where our bedroom is. Sounds pretty creepy at night so pleased that he squashed behind the van with the secateurs and a broom to sort it out (in case you were wondering the broom was for reaching up to get the branches in grabbing distance).
In between the sunny spells we've had sporadic downpours which have quickly dried up. I imagine this is much to the relief of the parents of the half dozen or so children whizzing around the site on their bikes and scooters. When it rained I got on with the chore of sewing up a few curtains that must've got caught in the window at some stage.
Tomorrow we have a couple of options for getting out and about. Aberaeon has a beer and cider festival or there is a carnival in Cardigan - I think we might have to wait on the weather before we decide on where we're going. It looks like we'll be taking our anoraks with us wherever we end up!
