We did try to have a quiet, restful day but ended up getting the creative juices flowing. I spent most of the day getting to grips with putting a zip in the cushion cover, only to end up removing it as it was a nightmare when it came to stuffing the cushion through it 😬. A bit more tricky than I'd imagined it.
Working out how to use a zipper foot on my machine and putting the zip in. At least I've learnt how to do it now.
Meanwhile Freddie went to collect his glasses (now needs to wear some permanently) and came back seeing everything 'in HD' (high definition.
Very managerial looking (looks the part for his new manager role at work from Monday). Amy is also gearing up for her new job tomorrow. Bag packed, things ready and outfit chosen (collecting uniform this week) so she's ready to go.
With his new found sight Freddie was soon working on Winnie putting in a dash cam and then finishing off the window seat. The lounge was a hive of activity especially when Amy started knitting as well.
Cushion finished, sawing completed. Just needs a coat of paint and some colourful cushions.
I think this is going to be Freddie's spot.
Now it's just me to get ready for the off. Got most of my things ready for the trip to Wales. In addition to the normal stuff I take there's a pot of paint, rollers and brushes for a bit of DIY when Ian arrives. Also a couple of golf putters and balls for the new mini golf course as it's cheaper to take your own.
The forecast looks a bit rubbish so an anorak and umbrella finished the packing 😊.
