This morning Amy and I met up with Jeanette (friend from work) for a cuppa and catch up. As usual lovely to see her and find out what's been going on in the last few months. Then it was back to Aylesford to make a start on the bay window seat cushion.
Zips at the ready and unpicking the lining from the curtain. I've also cut all the pieces out ready for sewing tomorrow. Freddie just needs to finish building the seat - no pressure Freddie!
This afternoon we jumped on the train at West Malling (did you know you get group rate on a train if 3 or more of you travel together?) into Charing Cross. It's great that the line now goes there in addition to Victoria. With theatre land within walking distance of Charing Cross it is so much easier than having to get a tube as well.
We went to see the newly opened Wizard of Oz tonight starring Jason Manford as The Cowardly Lion, Diversity star Ashley Banjo as The Tin Man in his West End musical debut and Gary Wilmot as The Wizard.
With the train service going just once an hour with the train disruptions we had plenty of time to pop into the Lego shop in Leicester Square.
Lie in tomorrow. Maybe have a bit of a rest 😊.
