7th July More Socialising and Returns

An early meet up with Peter's God mum Penny this morning and a tour of her garden. She's done a fantastic job with her vegetable patches, fruit trees and flowers. It was a lovely back drop while we caught up on news and enjoyed coffee sitting on the garden bench.

Then back to Aylesford via the foam warehouse to collect the padding for the window seat. 

I had to open Rolo's roof and managed to get the foam wedged in. It's now ensconced in the lounge ready for a bit of creative sewing on Sunday. 

This afternoon Amy and I whizzed back to Bluewater to return items of clothing not required and to get exchanges for those needed in a bigger size. Once sorted it was home again for my clothing to be sorted and on Freddie's return from work his cupboards went through the same treatment (we now have another bag to go to the charity shop in the morning). We're definitely doing our good deeds for the day this week.

I think I'm looking forward to having a rest on Sunday with nothing to do - hopefully 😅.
