13th July Just Me!

Up with the alarm this morning to get Pauline to the train station at Carmarthen on time. I had a good night's sleep as I didn't wake up with a swollen and itchy hand in the early hours like yesterday. My hand pretty much seems like it's back to normal.

We gave ourselves plenty of time to get to the station as you never know if you're going to be behind a tractor or combine harvester this time of year. Luckily our journey was event free and Pauline arrived in plenty of time.

I then made the most of being in Carmarthen and firstly went to Lidl and then Tesco to stock up on cupboard items. Then after parking up near to the town centre and walking in, I started having a good look round town. I managed to find a few bargains and then treated myself to a film in Vue.

Off to see Pixar's 'Elemental'. A fun film.

Afterwards I found a wool shop but managed to contain myself, despite all the lovely colours and came away empty handed. Something to look forward to on our next trip there 😄.

Back at the van I made the most of the lovely sunny afternoon and finished weeding the gravel that Pauline started the other day. Looks much better.

Very tidy now.

Tomorrow I'm planning to go into Cardigan despite the rubbish forecast. Hopefully it'll be quiet with people staying in.
