12th July Non Stop Today

Up for an early swim this morning, once we got in! Guess who lost her pass 🤔. Once rectified we soon enjoyed the plunge. Noticeably we were the odd ones out in the pool as we didn't have a child/grandchild 😅. So it was a slalom swim dodging Barbie floats, screaming children and frustrated looking Dads with their Tshirt suntans (bronzed face & neck and arms up to the elbow).

After a blast in the bubble pool we decided to make a quick getaway to avoid the rush in the showers and changing area. Back for a brunch before we packed up our bags for a coast path walk to Aberaeon.

So lucky with the weather.

Two hours later and we could treat ourselves to the best ice-cream in the area.

We had thought about walking back but the wind was blowing up and we'd be walking into all the way. So after a good look around we opted for a bus ride back and a countryside walk.

This evening after dinner we made a last visit for Pauline down to the beach and a circular walk back. We timed it well as it started to rain a short time after getting back.

A quiet evening in and then a trip to Carmarthen tomorrow to get Pauline to the train station.
