8th June Bluewater Binge

A rather busy day today as Amy and I headed over to Bluewater for a bit of retail therapy. My main mission was to find an appropriate bit of head gear to go with my outfit for the forthcoming family wedding. Amy was on the lookout for a diary/notebook for her new community nurse job and both of us were on the look out for summer gear.

In the end I was successful in getting a flower clip thing for my hair and a sun dress as part of my purchases, Amy also picked up a few items.  We met for an M&S lunch with Pauline and continued our shopping. She also had a productive shopping day 😅.

This evening I met up with friends who I've known since baby massage days! A lovely meal and catch up - so much happens in what seems to be a relatively short time but I think we're all up to date on each other's news. Back via Tesco to fuel up Rolo with the cheap diesel and home for a bit of late night sewing.

Tomorrow we're off to Scotland so a long drive ahead of us.
