7th June Off for a Walk

This morning was spent working on my puzzle and helping Peter work his way through job options in a virtual caterers fair. The wonders of technology - he was having mini interviews from the comfort of his living room.

As we were short of bread I enjoyed a leisurely walk up to Sainsbury's for a giraffe loaf (equivalent to a Tesco tiger loaf). Lovely fresh bread and crab pate for lunch - delish.

This afternoon Amy and I popped over to West Malling to see if her wedding dress was ready to collect from the dry cleaners and to get some ideas for birthday gifts. Unfortunately nothing appealed on the gift ideas so hopefully Bluewater tomorrow will be more productive. 

We also visited Tesco to see if Amy could get her glasses mended in the opticians there. No luck. Looks like a trip over to Sevenoaks to the opticians that she originally got her glasses from to see if they can work wonders.

This evening I've successfully completed my puzzle. It's a very busy one with lots to look at.

I'll admire it tonight and take it apart in the morning as it's taking up quite a bit of floor space.

Amy and I have a packed day tomorrow then I'm out for dinner in the evening. Need to pack a bag for our Scotland trip as well.
