This morning started off ok with my puzzle taking shape and some serious sorting being completed on the clothes front. It was time to go through my bags and baggages to work out what I'm taking with me on our Scottish graduation trip. Now all sorted 😀.
Late morning we went on a trial trip to Coxheath for Amy to work out her journey to her new job. There are at least 3 routes so plenty of options if the traffic is dodgy getting across the river or level crossing.
Then, as Amy and I were meeting up with someone the other side of Maidstone we headed home to drop Ian off and collect a few things. Unfortunately once we were on the M20 homeward bound there was no getting off for over an hour. There had been a series of incidents resulting in the motorway being closed 😬.
Eventually we were on the move, Ian got dropped off and in the time that we all went in the house and collected everything I mislaid the keys!!! Definitely early stages of dementia as I couldn't recall putting them in the bag I had taken a phone charger out of 😅. Undeterred Amy and I got to Maidstone and had a potter round Next and M&S. It was here that whilst I was trying on summer dresses and shorts that Amy noticed I'd got my knickers on inside out! Oh, well ... 2 things so far, so there must be another one to show I'm going a bit do dally.
After deciding on a pair of shorts and paying the bill we then got our skates on as we'd planned to go to the cinema. As we got back and were waiting for Ian and Freddie I decided to make myself a coffee using the machine. I had it all ready but for some reason a red light was flashing. I checked with Amy and online and it indicated that the water isn't up to temperature. Well, I waited and waited. Tried the turn off and on method and still the light flashed. And then Amy realised I hadn't put the coffee pod in 😅. My 3 things for the day. Hopefully I'll be a bit more on the ball tomorrow 😀.
Anyway I enjoyed my coffee and we got over to Rochester for a bite to eat and the cinema.
I hope to get the puzzle completed tomorrow.
