4th June Gardening Day

Another lovely day so an opportunity for finishing the washing and tackling the garden.

Mending the fence

I was on ramble clearing duty. Managed to get rid of it all and shredded it to go in the compost bin.

A bit of painting.

Finding snails. Now no longer a thread to Freddie's veggie patch as they've been rehomed to the front of the house.

Building a plinth for the water barrel.

All finished!

Another huge stag beetle

Ian ended up round next door mending the elderly neighbour's side door. This is him asking for additional tools 😅

After shredding brambles I was on lawn mowing duty. I can count on one hand the number of times I've done the mowing. It's too much like hoovering and you know how much I love housework 😄.

Time for Mr & Mrs to have a well earned rest after our busy day 😎

We did have the opportunity to sit out in the garden and enjoy the sunshine. It turned out quite warm.
