26th June Off for a Walk

While Amy was working and Freddie busy reorganising his man cave, Peter and I met up with my Monday morning walking buddies.

Alongside Peter, Wally joined the walk for one lap of the lakes. Wally being a rescue pup who clearly enjoyed rolling in the grass, meeting new friends and tasting lots of delicacies on his way round. Karen will sadly 😅 be waving him off this evening when she returns him to his owners. She'll have plenty of time for puzzles, reading and a bit of knitting after I gave her a bagful of goodies this morning.

Back home this afternoon Peter and I have been sorting through old photos and having a look at my dad's family tree. I'm visiting Mum and Dad this week so I hope to get a bit of time to go through some photos.

It was time for a Peter's cookery lesson this evening as he showed Freddie how to cook KFC style fried chicken - pretty good too. He's back to Scotland tomorrow and starts his new job as a Data Engineer on Thursday. So he's been making the most of his week off relaxing.
