25th June Wrotham in Bloom

This morning started off with waving Ian off at the railway station as he started his 5 weeks down south supporting the navy cadets. Then this afternoon in the intense sunshine, sunhat on and sporting sunglasses, I jumped into Rolo put the lid down and drove met up with Pauline.

We enjoyed a visit to to the 'Wrotham in Bloom' displays and a walk in the sunshine to catch up with Tim who was umpiring at a local children's cricket tournament.

There were displays in the church and some lovely singing and music from students at a local secondary school for us to enjoy. We also picked up a few plants in the plant sale. Freddie has already planted his new tomato plant.

We returned Rolo and walked to the local cricket pitch. After our spot of cricket watching we walked back for a chill in her garden and an ice lolly.

Another lovely sunny day forecast tomorrow. Off in the morning to meet my walking buddies and Wally the dog.
