After paperwork was sorted we first went to buy a large frame from a local frame maker. Peter did some decent bartering (Ian was very proud 😄) and got some discount. We then went into the centre of the city to an art gallery that had advertised cutting mounts. As he has 6 pictures to go in the frame he was trying to see if it was a reasonable price now he'd got his own frame. He'd had a ridiculous quote to do the mount and provide a frame so hoped that this was a cheaper way of doing it. It was! So pictures and frame left at the gallery to be collected in a week or so.
After a bit of a potter we grabbed a late lunch and headed back to Peter's to start the packing and cleaning.
We've been busy with the garden tidied and given a final string, carpets shampooed, kitchen, fridge/freezer and oven sparkling clean and kitchen contents all boxed up. So an early start to collect the van tomorrow and furniture to be dismantled.
It'll be a busy day and hopefully dry 😄.
