6th May Coronation Day

As it was market day as well as the Coronation we had a lot to fit in this morning!

It was an early breakfast before heading off to Empuriabrava, but it did mean we beat the market rush.

Peter had plenty of time to check out all the stalls and do some shopping.

I got my weekly fix of strawberries

After a quick pot stop to fill up on diesel, at just €1.29/l, and a dash into the Asia Market to check out the bowl situation (I managed to break one the other day), we shot back to the apartment.

Luckily for us we could rewind on iPlayer so we saw the King leave Buckingham Palace and the rest of the ceremony. We, however, were enjoying the sunshine while it happened rather than the drizzle those participating in the parade were having to endure.

Keeping to a party theme over this weekend we had strawberries for breakfast and a BBQ dinner. There is also Pims and scones to enjoy tomorrow.🥳🎉
