3rd May Wash Day

A calm morning with only a slight breeze and sunshine, making it an ideal wash day.

On our way to the launderette, around the corner, Ian spotted a funnel web spider's web in the garden. Apparently it is the largest spider to be found in Europe! So I'm glad we didn't see one.

After we loaded our washing, I was concentrating on setting my phone alarm for the 35 minutes for the wash and managed to walk into the window! 😅 Anyway, injury free we used the time to walk down the prom before returning to load the tumble dryer.

Before lunch I spotted a seagull eying up the table. It meant Ian was on sentry duty to ensure it didn't have a chance of swooping down and swiping food off our table.

Is this our aerial thief from the other day?

After lunch Ian tackled a bit of repair work required by the sink edge. He's made a good job of it 😊.

We had another warm evening so dinner was enjoyed our on the balcony. Tomorrow evening we'll be picking up Peter from the airport. Looking forward to having him to stay for a week.
