2nd May The Wind Continued

After a night of the wind howling round the building, rattling the front door and moving the balcony furniture we awoke to more wind. As it was day 3 of the wind it was getting very tiresome.

So late morning we battled through the wind to Rolo and headed off to stock up on groceries. Returning in time for lunch Ian added another coat of paint to the pot.

We decided to go for a walk after lunch and noticed that the wind had reduced. Although every so often there would be a gust of wind making me scrabble to keep my hat on.

Eventually by late afternoon the wind had stopped and it was noticeably hot! Time to get out on the sun lounger 😎. 

It ended up being the hottest and sunniest day so far.
