1st May Holiday Day

It's been busy down the sea front today despite the strong winds. Tourists out in full and a German contingent at one of the hotels on the front. A band was playing and people dancing at 11 in the morning - it was bit like a beer festival.

We managed to battle through against tourists and the wind for a walk up to Roses and through the back streets. We abandoned the route taking the path up to the marina as the wind was blowing the sand off the beach. I didn't fancy being sandblasted in my shorts 😅.

The turtle sand sculptures have taken shape  and the blob that was originally not moulded is now a crocodile.

Pretty impressive crocodile

Back after our walk Ian decided to paint the pot we got given on Saturday. A combination of paints found in the storage boxhabe been used.

I had a short time enjoying the sunshine in the shelter in the front of the apartment. Unfortunately the continued strong winds made sitting on the balcony impossible for the 2nd day running.

Tomorrow we need to get some groceries so looks like we'll be out in Rolo. Hopefully the wind reduces tomorrow as well.
