Unfortunately it seems that for many of the companies that he has applied for that the next stage of video recorded job scenario assessments has fallen in this week! But he has adapted really well and the boat lounge has been turned into his personal recording studio. Stripey curtains form a background, he's been wearing Ian's shirt (Peter's Mickey Mouse and cartoon t-shirts didn't seem interview appropriate 😅) and we've been finding places to charge his laptop as we only have 12v on the boat. It's amazing how long you can make a coffee last in a café when you're using their plug!
WiFi connection has also been a challenge on the boat. But through a combination of everyone's hot spots from their phones we have found someone with a good enough signal to record and upload his interviews successfully.
Today has therefore been a bit sporadic on the boat movement front as we also had to get the gas engineer out again as the grill still wasn't working. No toast again! We therefore lifted up our mud weight after breakfast and chugged along to Potter Higham to meet up with the engineer and get Peter settled for his interviews.
Later this afternoon, after exploring this little village and sitting in their café charging a laptop, we motored up to the little village of Ludham where we're now on our mud weight again for the night 😊.
