We went to Wroxham down the River Bure this morning as we had to meet the gas engineer.
There weren't any vacant free moorings so we ended up in another boat yard to meet with the engineer. He was very thorough and soon got it fixed. Toast for breakfast tomorrow!
Peter had to complete a virtual interview for one of the jobs he'd applied for so we left him on the boat while we pottered round Wroxham. We had a good look round the well known Roy's department store and food hall before going to a local pub for Freddie's birthday lunch.
Back after lunch with some food supplies we started putting things in the cupboards. Unfortunately cupboard door came off the hinges so DIY Foreman managed to mend it with a knife and spoon!
As we'd had a late lunch we ended up leaving Wroxham about 4pm. It was still warm so sitting out in the front we spotted several kingfishers. Their distinctive blue plummage flashing across the river as they skimmed the surface between the river banks.
Birthday cake and cups of tea once we'd anchored for the night. The birthday celebrations were finished off with another marathon Cards Against Humanity (family edition) game. For the second night Amy won, this time drawing with Peter.
