8th April Walking Lunch Date

This morning started with a walk in the sunshine up the road to Sainsbury's, where I had a lovely, but short catch up with Jeanette. I'm now looking forward to catching up properly with her next week.

Pauline and Tim, my own Uber service, picked me up and we went back to meet up with Ian for our cross country ramble to Allington lock. A repeat journey of the one we did yesterday afternoon but in slightly warmer conditions.

We had a cuppa at the coffee shop at the lock and a sit down in the sun on deck chairs.

We returned on the other side of the River Medway for a sit out in the garden and lunch. A lovely lunch date 😊.

This afternoon we popped over to see Ian's Mum for a catch up and to collect items for Spain. BBQ, coals, fins, snorkels and a box of books all packed up.

As we had a huge lunch I could only make room for a hot cross bun and a cuppa for this evening. Well it is Easter weekend. Now looking forward to our day at the sailing club and catching up with Paul and Kate for Sail Past. Hopefully we'll have a repeat of today's weather.
