20th January Larnaca for the Day

We decided to have a road trip today, driving to Larnaca after breakfast. Initially taking the 2 lane motorway and then the coast road around Larnaca Bay we parked up in a side street near to the main harbour.

The main harbour was mainly commercial so we enjoyed the walk along the seafront before checking out the marina.

Djami Kebir Mosque - the call for prayer was going on while we were passing but we couldn't see anyone up the tower. Must have been a recording.

After a walk along the palm tree walk to the fishing harbour we had run out of footpath. So we returned and after finishing our exploration of the town headed back to the car. Then we went off in search of flamingos in the nearby salt lake. They were there but in the distance.

Back to Ayia Napa it has been a bit cooler this evening as it's been a bit breezy. Dinner inside in the warm tonight 😁. Tomorrow I must remember to put sun cream on Ian's neck.
