6 July Jurassic Film Day

Well we've certainly had a load of rain today, interspersed with rumbles of thunder and the occasional lightening flash. At 5.30am the rain was bashing against the windows and woke us all up. Junior decided it was breakfast time! 

Any way after we all managed to get back to sleep we got up at a sensible hour and ended up rushing round. Amy and Freddie were out for the day to Wild Wood down in Herne Bay, meeting up with a group they belong to. So it was making sandwiches, packing prams, trying to locate the rain cover and looking for rain coats before they got on their way.

While they were out I went out to catch up with family and then got a call from Amy to say Wild Wood was closed. A tree had fallen during this morning's storm and there were safety concerns - they have a wolves enclosure so better safe than sorry.

They then returned home giving Amy time to pack for our trip back up to Wales tomorrow. Meanwhile I took myself of to the cinema to see the next film in the Jurassic Park series. A good dinosaur, action packed adventure.

Whilst in the cinema I missed another storm but as it's remained muggy we've had the fans going to keep cool. It's gradually getting cooler!
