An ideal opportunity to pack away all the outgrown baby clothes and equipment no longer required. It's amazing how much has been grown out of in just a few months. Looking at the tiny baby clothes brought back memories of weeks travelling every day to NICU. How time flies!
This afternoon Pauline popped round for a cuppa. We ended up taking junior for a walk as Amy had to stay in - waiting for an expected delivery that needed a signature.
We had all good plans to try out The Pantry in the village but when we arrived it was closed for the week. Not surprising as the High Street is closed to traffic for gas mains work. So we ended up in the newsagents for an ice cream and a cold drink and then took them to the riverside park to enjoy them.
Baby enjoyed a nap in the shade while we worked out that we're both off to the same concert at Wembley on Saturday - a bit of a coincidence. We're both looking forward to it.
This evening Ian and I have been on baby sitting duty with a difference. We had originally thought we'd be at home but ended up taking junior out to dinner with us after a last minute invite to catch up with our friends from Spain.
A perfectly behaved baby made our meal out to a local Indian Restaurant very pleasant. She's been invited out again!
