Mid morning Amy, junior and I walked up to do a mini Sainsbury's shop after making the most of the parent and baby free cake in the M&S cafe. Only 62 left for Amy to make use of this s Tuesday morning offer!
Then this afternoon it was another brisk 35 minute walk up to the library and post office. I was pleased that the library visit was successful as I managed to borrow 2 books by James Oswald that I can't currently borrow through the library Libby ebook app. Amy also borrowed a few lift the flap books for bed time reads.
Once back from the return walk (probably took us 40 minutes as we were flagging in the heat) we raided the fridge for some much needed cold drinks and all flopped in the lounge while baby continued snoozing in the pram.
After a short break we were then off again! This time it was out with Grandad for a belated birthday meal for Freddie and early birthday dinner for Ian and I. A lovely treat 😊.
Tomorrow it looks like another busy day - and gorgeous weather 😎.
