11 June Cakes and Creativity

This morning we went to support a local small college for learners aged 18-25 with special educational needs. The students of Grow 19 run a cafe in East Malling hub and having been there before we know the cakes are delicious! Between 3 of us we tried out slices of Miss Trunchpole's Chocolate Cake, White Chocolate and Raspberry cake and a decent sized slab of Rocky Road - all very yummy. My fav was the white chocolate one.

After lunch Amy took the pram off walking with a friend and her baby down to Allington lock. It certainly was a lovely afternoon for a walk - I opted for sitting in the garden to read.

This evening I've started on a Christmas project. Even though there's 6 months I'll need some input to get it finished once I've done the tapestry bit.

Freddie has been harvesting the final few cauliflowers - they're massive!! With several already in our fridge I think he'll be giving them away soon 😁. Then it'll be on to planting the next load of veggies.

A much warmer evening and a warm few days so looking forward to a few more afternoons sitting out in the garden.
