19 May Rushing Around

It's been one of those days. One minute I'm trying to sort out my pension and the next we're in Rolo hotfooting it down the road to meet up with Amy to get my hair cut.

With Ian at the wheel we navigated a bit of a hold up and managed to get to Amy with a few minutes to spare to walk round to the hairdresser. Then it was a couple of hours of titivating as we both had our hair done.

I ended up having a bit of a wave put in my hair - that won't last though! I never use a hairdryer and curling tongs are an absolute no no. So tomorrow it'll be back to normal. Nice while it lasts though.

This afternoon we've been catching up with a work colleague from years past (about 7 years at least). Out in the garden I was getting slightly sozzled! At least I didn't have to make my way home. I could chill out in the conservatory while Ian completed the evening plant watering.

It was lovely to have such a warm evening to enjoy after a bit of a chilly start to the day. I'm easing myself into Spanish evenings which we'll soon be enjoying.
