17 May Decluttering Day

After the necessary garden maintenance was completed we headed over to catch up with Amy and work on some more Spring Cleaning.

There was some serious decluttering of the under stairs cupboard. We even found £10 tucked into a bag not used for a couple of years!!

A well earned cup of tea was definitely needed after our lunch break taken out in the garden - a very sunny day for us today.

We then made a start on the kitchen cupboards so everything looking shipshape downstairs - just upstairs to tackle now 😄.

Disaster struck when Ian tried to cut open a packet of batteries encased in very hard plastic. Unfortunately he managed to cut a chunk out of his well loved lambs wool jumper!!

I took my sewing station outside as it was easier to see in the bright sunlight - a fiddly bit of mending.

Quite pleased with the outcome.

We finished off the evening watering plants and eating the strawberries! There is also a possibility we might see how the UK do in Eurovision. I don't hold out much hope of anything other than 'nul points'!
