As it was such a lovely sunny day, Melia's in Borough Green was a good spot for sitting and chatting outside. The smoothies and milkshakes looked very tasty as well - I'll definitely be trying one out next time.
The only downside of meeting in Borough Green is the recently installed car parking charges (although the first hour is free). However, we managed to find a spot with 2 hours free parking in a nearby road and when the 2 hours was nearly up (we talked alot!!) Ian managed to move Rolo to a space directly outside the cafe.
After putting the world to rights (much talking about rubbish weather in Spain and wine), we headed over to catch up with Amy and baby. A quick catch up and Nana cuddles before we had to get back to take the dog for a final walk. Steve, having worked today, was on the late run with the dog to catch up with the others at the start of their boating holiday.
So while he packed his car Ian cooked us all dinner and I took on dog walking duties. Can you spot the dog?
Having waved Steve off on his gauntlet round the M25 it was time to start the main part of our house keeping duties - watering the plants twice a day! It looks like we'll be enjoying fresh strawberries by the end of the week if the sunshine continues.
Another sunny day forecast tomorrow 😎.
