For once our journey back down south via the M40 and M25 was fairly straightforward for once. No lengthy hold ups, wide vehicles or detours. A smooth journey back doesn't happen very often so we were pleasantly surprised.
This time we just had a convoy of fire engines to pass. From what we could work out, from flags and signs on the fire engines and accompanying vehicles, they were going to the Ukraine. From a quick Google it would take them 1 day 5 hours continuous driving to get there!
Anyway, we arrived back in time for a relaxing evening and family time watching the last Mission Impossible film (Dead Reckoning Part 1) as the new part 2 and apparently final film is released this week. So at least we'll be up to speed with the story before going to the cinema.
Another sunny day forecast tomorrow so hopefully we should be able to squeeze in a much needed walk.
