In between our excursions into a variety of clothes shops we managed to enjoy 2 slices of cake and a hot drink for free!
Amy is part of the M&S parents club which gives parents a free slice of cake with a hot drink on Tuesday mornings. There were loads of prams in the M&S cafe so I imagine there was loads of free cake being eaten this morning. Our carrot cake (chosen for it's Easteryness) certainly gave us energy for our shopping endeavours.
Amy then also checked out her John Lewis app and had more cake and a hot drink for free so we got those for our afternoon refreshments! 😀.
Anyway, we had a successful shop with a few outfits purchased for Amy. I also managed to get much needed insoles for my walking shoes, which haven't quite sprung a leak but always seem to make my left sock a bit soggy if it rains. As I hate soggy stuff I thought it was worth trying out as a remedial fix. If the soggy sock continues I'll have to have a rethink.
