First thing Ian did before Freddie left this morning was to get him to help take one of the french doors off. It's been a bit stiff when trying to open and close it. So it's had a full overhaul - cleaned, sprayed and oiled.
Unfortunately not having the muscle to get it back on the rails meant that returning it to the correct position was a bit of a hassle. But we got there.
After they had been put back Ian went and painted the handle bars of the bikes while I cleaned the french doors. My arms certainly had a good workout trying to get them smudge free.
As we knew we were out for dinner we headed out along the prom for a walk and obligatory coffee. Then we walked further into Roses to investigate a building project.
The pump then poured the concrete on to the wooden platform to form what we asumd us going to be the floor. We'll have to visit later in the week to see how the rest of the construction is going.
It was then back to sit on the balcony until it was time to go bowling. With brilliant sunshine one side and dark, thunder producing clouds the other. No rain though.
We enjoyed an evening out bowling and then a meal with some of the bowlers back at La Bola. The children tried out Les Palmiers along the prom (one we've not tried out previously) and with good reviews from them I think we'll try it some time.
Not sure what we're up to tomorrow. A wait and see day.
