So as planned we jumped into Rolo (maybe that's an exaggeration, but Mum now seems to have cracked the technique for getting herself in the back without wedging her backside in between the door and the front seat). And headed into Ludlow.
This did take a bit longer than normal as some Muppet caused a grid lock by being on the wrong side of the road trying to manoeuvre into a non existent parking spot at the top of the hill. As it's right on the traffic lights we must've had at least half a dozen changes of light before everyone shuffled around and the traffic started to flow again. Always one!!!
Always time for a browse round a market. Ludlow has a small market twice a week in the town square, conveniently by the car park.
Stopping for a cuppa and a fresh raspberry tart (it is my birthday!) we then sorted out the shopping essentials before a big shop at Tesco. It was going to be Sainsbury's but the road to get there was closed so our plans were amended to take in this minor hiccup.
This afternoon has been a relaxing one. I needed to digest my indulgent sticky toffee pudding and salted caramel ice cream (not having a starter I could just about squeeze it in). A lovely warm afternoon in the garden only interrupted by more cake and cupx of tea. I'm well and truly stuffed!!!
Had an evening visitor. 🐸 Managed to get it cornered with a newspaper before it was rehomed in the garden.
So back to the van and a diet free of cake tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully the boiler will have been fixed otherwise Friday will be spent hassling maintenance.
