After leaving at 10am we managed to get to finally get to the market by about 11.30am. Photo stops, checking out boats, watching parachutists, trying to find a loo and looking at the various flora and fauna on our way delaying our progress.
Pauline and I headed left to check out the clothing stalls while Ian and Tim went right. The fellas ended up being given a pot by the local potter. We weren't really sure how we were going to get it back on our walk but it looked rather lovely.
Lunch and a snooze on the beach (well we're in Spain so an afternoon nap is part of the culture). Then we ended up getting the giggles when we all struggled to get off the floor - flailing arms and legs everywhere.
Next stop was the skydiving centre where we could watch the parachutists zooming over head before they land. Always great fun to see them whizzing down and land right in front of us.
We then continued our hike back to the apartment for a well earned rest, cold drink and dinner.
With only a few days here Pauline wants to see everything possible. So after dinner we drove over to Castello d'Empuries which is the original town of Empuries before Empuibrava was built.
A late night drink before returning home to get the blog written. Walking towards the apartment for the final time today we hit the 35k steps - the highest total daily steps any of us have logged!
More walking planned tomorrow so off to soak my feet before bed to ensure they're walking ready in the morning😃.
