After a slow start to the morning we pottered in Roses direction as we walked to check out a restaurant suggested by a couple at mini golf last night. Called El Carol and situated round the back of the Citadel it's a chicken and pizza restaurant open just on Friday nights and over the weekend. We've decided to try it out tomorrow night.

The beach volleyball tournament continues despite the damp sand as we had rain overnight. I can't imagine it's the nicest landing in a bikini 😃.

For lunch we stopped in Bajarmas, a lovely beach front restaurant, and had a tasty, relaxing meal.

This evening we drove over to Empuriabrava to see what was going on with the EmpuriaTast.

An opportunity to try out food and drink from different local restaurants whilst listening to music. Live bands playing in the evening over the next 3 nights.

We had a few dishes to try out. Even an egg burger!!

Tomorrow we're planning on a trip into Figueres and dinner in the restaurant we checked out today.
