16th May Thunderstorm Thursday

A bit of an odd day weatherwise today. We started off with a lovely morning so we went off walking to Roses to find the cinema. 

Having recently found out that there's a weekly English language film we went to find where it is located. Additionally we wanted to find out what parking possibilities there are nearby. We found it, there's free parking and it's only €5.50 a ticket.

Back over lunch we had a spectacular thunderstorm with some impressive lightening.

Then later this afternoon we had brilliant sunshine again! Just as we headed out for our bowling over in Empuriabrava.

Ian did really well against heavy competition.

I ended up as third overall in the ladies competition. Not bad considering I've not played until last November.

A brilliant evening catching up with the group. Next week it's mini golf!
