13th May Taking it Easy

Not a particularly exciting day with washing being the high point 😃.

With our pancakes for breakfast finished and washing up completed we traipsed down to the launderette to put on a load. After a bit of faffing around with the payment machine it was all good to be left for the allotted time. This gave us time to look around the nearby shops whilst waiting for it to run the wash cycle. We were looking for ice lolly moulds and an oil and vinegar set. Unfortunately nothing suitable so we went and sat on a sea front bench watching the swimming buoys being laid for the season until time was up.

That reminds me. Peter found a news article about the recent incident. Sadly a body was located yesterday afternoon about 10m down - found by a specialist fixed wing plane that we had noticed flying circuits over the bay yesterday morning when we went to the market. At least some closure for the family.

Luckily today's tumble dryer wasn't at the scalding temperature we had last time. I won't be having to throw out my shrunken socks like last time!

This afternoon we lazed on the balcony both reading. Well I was plugged in to an audiobook which makes trying to read a book whilst lying down much easier.

Our photo for the day. Ian settling down for a comfy evening of DVD watching.

I'm managing to crochet at the same time as watching our evening film. Getting quite a collection.

Tomorrow with drizzle forecast we're out for lunch with Richard. Think we're heading to the recently discovered French restaurant. Yummy!
