Today we have been a bit domestic with Ian tackling our new storage cupboard (putting on locks), while I did some washing and cleaning. Yes I know. I don't know what came over me.
With both chores completed we went off for a morning perambulate to find out why we still had a helicopter whizzing over head.
On our way out we remembered to take pictures of a tree and it's fruit that we're trying to identify.
Walking past the harbour, at the Sta Margarita end, we saw firemen along the harbour wall and pointing out to sea. Whatever they were looking for yesterday it looks like they're continuing their search.
There were more firemen and boats patrolling at the Roses end of the prom. In all their gear they must be absolutely sweltering.
Whilst in Roses we popped into the Tourist Information to find out what's going on locally. We also enquired about the emergency service presence. Sadly it transpires that 3 drunk fellas went swimming yesterday at 6am. Two were rescued by a fisherman and the third hasn't been found. The search operation has been continued in the hope of locating him.
This afternoon we enjoyed a warm afternoon on the balcony. Lots of boats and jet skis heading up the canal and out to sea today.
I've given my well worn feet a bit of a pamper. I'll have to walk around bare foot to get rid of my stripes.
