8th April Chilly Walk

With a cool breeze and showers for most of the week we were lucky to get out for a walk this afternoon.

This time Mum and I pottered up the road.

There was quite a wash with the wind whipping up 'waves' in the lakes below Walcott Hall.

Had to look up what 'peregrinations' means! (In case your wondering it means a long or meandering journey.) A very aristocratic sign.

The village is quite colourful with all the daffodils out at the moment.

Sadly our last full day as we make our way back to Kent tomorrow via the delightful M25!
