28th April Peculiarities of Getting Older

Weather as forecast with rain overnight and most of the day. So we spent the majority of the day couped up and making regular forays out on to the balcony to check on the rain situation. We even had our very own weather watch puddle to monitor the voracity of the rain.

Damp and dreary start to the day.

Ian had enough of reading so got the varnish out. The kitchen window is looking good.

Late afternoon we broke out for a walk when it stopped raining - at last!!

Although our going out for a quick walk made us realise we're getting old. I needed to ensure that I wasn't caught short on our preamble so had the obligatory trip to the loo before heading out. We eventually made it out of the door and started our walk out of the apartment block when Ian had to check he'd locked the door. Then when he returned I realised I had the wrong glasses!! 🤓 So another trip back to change specs. The walk was much needed if only to blow away some cobwebs.

Anyway, more rain expected tomorrow so I'll be making sure I have the correct specs on when it stops raining.
