25th April A Calm Day

It almost seems like we're back to what we normally expect in Spain at this time of year as silence reigns (well, there's no whistling wind). We're still waiting for the proper sun to show itself as it's remained overcast but pleasant all day - warm enough to get the shorts on again but a long sleeve is needed for a walk.

This morning I don't know what came over me. While Ian applied a coat of paint to the dresser, I cleaned the hob and the tiles in the kitchen! I did explain to Ian that the shock of cleaning meant I needed a coffee to recover from domestic exertion.

With not much else planned we took a stroll along the marina side of Sta Margarita looking for our first geocache of our stay. It proved to be a bit tricky but Ian eventually found it.

Our geocache find was a small magnetic package attached underneath a nearby fence. Very cleverly camouflaged.

This afternoon the angle grinder has been in action shortening the screws attaching the door knobs. They extended too far making the door closures a bit difficult. Now all in place and the work on the dresser is completed.

Seems like a good point to get dinner on and relax for the evening.
