We had a pretty successful shop coming away with most of what was on our list plus a few extra goodies 😀. We do love a bargain!
This afternoon we drove home via Sandra and Brad's popping in for a catch up and a coffee. Ian met us there having already arrived as he'd had other things to do this morning. Sitting out in the garden, enjoying the warmth, we had loads to catch up on following our travels.
With time ticking by and loads more still to share an impromptu BBQ was suggested. So the girls were dispatched to Waitrose, Brad and Ian got the coals going and Freddie was rustled up from home to sort out and bring salad ingredients that we had planned to have for dinner.
We had a fabulous BBQ finished off by homemade artic roll. Definitely summer is on its way now with have had our first British BBQ. A bit chilly sitting outside when the sun started to go down but we soon warmed up when we moved inside to share photos from our trip.
So what was originally a quick chat over a cuppa turned into a bit of a late night! But so lovely to see everyone.
Amy has already planned for a major sort out tomorrow - I'm looking forward to a good declutter 😄.
