12th April Chess Set Collection

A bright start to the day - almost summer!

So Ian tackled the garden and tidied the garage whilst looking for tools to take with us to Spain. He's also unearthed our bike helmets and panniers for our cycling trips around the Roses area.

I meanwhile walked up to Sainsbury's to restock a few grocery items and get dinner ingredients - Spanish chicken for dinner tonight in the slow cooker.

This afternoon we met up again with Chris and Lorraine to collect their chess set and a couple of picnic tables for delivery to Roses. A couple of hours later (we had quite a natter) we got home to the news that Freddie had got 98% in his course and now starts his MOT inspector course next week - well done Freddie!

A charity bag came through the letterbox today so an ideal opportunity to have a sort out - now bags and boxes everywhere as we have our clear out. Lots of stuff that I've not used over the past year that is ripe for recycling is now making its way in to the charity bag.

Anyway Amy and I are off to Bluewater in the morning so I've got to create space for any potential purchases 😄.
