11th April Spanish Contacts

Rather surprisingly Ian suggested a walk today! A riverside walk along to Allington Lock before lunch.

The river was on its way out as we walked over Aylesford Bridge and into the village.

We stopped for a warming coffee at the Little Old Toll House. Although it was getting quite hot sitting out in the sunshine on the lock side.

This afternoon we met up for a cuppa with our Spanish contacts who we found out live not far from Borough Green. We had a good catch up and are making plans to take a few furniture items for them when we drive down next week. They generally fly so can't get them in their hand luggage 😀.

A rather pleasant day in all, especially whenyou don't need to wear a coat.
