Ian and I headed out to the picturesque village of West Malling this morning to carry out a few errands and had to take it easy through the flooded bits of road. There were quite a few areas that looked from the tide marks to have been quite extensive overnight but were gradually reducing in size. At least the rain has stopped.
This afternoon has been a creative one for me. I've been putting the finishing touches to a couple of crochet projects now that I managed to get hold of the right sized eyes. Rather pleased with the finishing result. I might make a few more.
This evening we had a family meal out which was rather nice. Spent some time discussing our forthcoming trip away - still got to sort out travel insurance but otherwise visas done and cash ordered.
The giggling twosome - eyeing up the Billionaire Sundae creation made from a combination of dolcetti desserts and ice cream.
Tomorrow is going to be a busy one. Amy and I are off to Brighton for the day/night. Looking forward to it. Might try out some cocktails 😀.
