2nd December Freeezzing!

Definitely taking a while to get used to the chilly conditions. I'm going to have to unearth the thermals soon.

Wrapped up for the rather cold conditions - Ian definitely not impressed.

Today we had a couple of Christmas Fairs to go to. The first was in Aylesford village so we got out for a walk. First dropping off a parcel to be returned at the Post Office before finding that I'd got the times of the fair muddled. We were early for the midday start so went into the village in search of a cuppa. Ended up at The Chequers pub for a warm up and a latte.

Once thawed out we visited the fair, had a good look at all the lovely crafts and gifts on offer and also ended up with free popcorn and doughnuts! We didn't take up the free face painting or tattoos offer though 😃.

Back for homemade leek and potato soup before driving over to Wrotham village for their fair. It's the official turning on the lights day but we left before it got dark and colder. Home for a defrost and warm up!

Tomorrow there are more local Fairs so we'll see how we feel and the temperature before we commit ourselves to more outside ventures.  Can't believe that only a few days ago we were wandering along the sea front without a coat, scarf, hat and gloves!
